Flipy
flipy partner / cco

For more than 20 years, Enrique Pérez Vergara has built his professional career between Spain and Latin America. He has worked both as an independent producer through the companies he co-founded (Hill Valley and 100Balas), and as a Content Director during his time at Grupo Vocento and Mediapro, following the sale of those companies. Before founding his new production company, Studio 60, in March 2023, he briefly served as Executive Producer for Latin America at Buendía Estudios.

His career includes a wide variety of prime-time fiction projects in Spain and Latin America. Among them are Olmos y Robles (RTVE), El Chiringuito de Pepe (Telecinco), N00Bees (Nickelodeon, 120 episodes), Las Bravas FC (HBO Max), Playa Soledad (Sony Latam), and the miniseries La Ley del Mar (RTVE/Netflix), which recently won the top prize at the Prix Rai Awards in Italy.

Beyond fiction, he has produced a diverse range of entertainment programs, spanning comedy, game shows, lifestyle, sketches, and stand-up. His most notable productions include La Hora de José Mota (RTVE), Muchachada Nui (RTVE), Sopa de Gansos (Mediaset), Fit Life (Fox), Espinete No Existe (RTVE), and eSports Generation (GOLTV), the first free-to-air eSports news program on Spanish television.

In the field of animation, he has developed series for major channels and platforms such as Telefónica, Cartoon Network, and Mediaset, including Enjuto Mojamuto, Las Aventuras de Hincli Mincli, Monetes del Espacio, and Zurullito Feliz.

Outside television, he created and produced the popular science video game Flipy’s Tesla! Let’s Invent the Future for Sony Playstation, developed in collaboration with CERN scientists. This project reflects his passion for science, a field he also explored as a contributor to the science section of the successful entertainment program El Hormiguero. He was also one of the first stand-up comedians in Spain, performing on Comedy Central in the early 2000s.

This journey has established Enrique Pérez Vergara as a benchmark in audiovisual production, consolidating his reputation as a multifaceted and visionary professional in the entertainment industry.

Raúl Tapias
raúl tapias partner / executive producer

Raúl Tapias is a growth-oriented serial entrepreneur that has combined high roles in multinationals with founding and growing startups. He studied Business in Madrid (SP) and Maastricht (NL), and in the last year of the university he started his first business providing email accounts to the students backed by the engineering faculty, and developing courses on marketing and finance with top companies/institutions like Telefónica, McKinsey, and Madrid Stock Exchange, among others. That was 1996.

After graduating he started his career working for multinationals in the retail/energy sectors. He worked in six countries of three continents, playing different roles in Sales, Marketing, Quality and Communication. At the age of 25 he thought that he had more to give and became the youngest ever to have an Executive Master’s degree at IE (Instituto de Empresa) finishing among the top 3 students. After that event Raúl never had only one job.

Raúl spent the following 15 years combining top roles in multinationals with co-founding a marketing agency specialized in Loyalty, developing programs for financial institutions, insurance companies and airlines.

In 2015 he stopped working for big companies to concentrate in owned companies. He founded an AI-powered company for identity verification being the first to apply it to banking and telco. After 5 years it was acquired by the main leader in Spain. In the next two years, working for the buyer, he founded two more companies in the social media and crypto sectors.

Married to a member of the Spanish cinema academy, one of the top legal advisors in Spain who has been involved in more than 500 productions, Raúl has been watching the bulls from the barrier for the last 20 years. When he met Flipy and David, he realized that was the moment of jumping over and run together.

LA LEY DEL MAR

On July 14, 2006, the fishing vessel “Francisco y Catalina” rescued a small boat carrying 51 migrants in the Mediterranean Sea. As they were about to disembark them in Malta, a patrol boat appeared unexpectedly and held them back. For seven days, the country’s government denied them entry, while Spain and Brussels were unable to intervene. In Santa Pola, the fishermen’s wives took to the streets. But it was the determination of the Spanish ambassador that finally led Europe to reach an agreement.
